On the Draw tab, tap the pen, color, and thickness you want, and then use your finger or stylus to draw on the page. Stylus orientation helps OneNote ignore any input your palm may unintentionally create as you write with the stylus. To enable drawing or handwriting notes with a stylus, such as a Microsoft Surface Pen or Apple Pencil, tap Stylus Orientation, and then select how you typically hold a stylus to draw. You can also choose from a shapes gallery instead of drawing freehand. If this option is turned off, moving your finger across the screen will pan content on the current page in or out of view instead of drawing on the screen. OneNote lets you draw, sketch, or write notes with a your finger, a pen, or even a mouse. If you’re using a stylus, you should also tap Palm Rejection from the ribbon and select the image that best resembles the way you hold a pen. Tap the Draw with Touch option to enable drawing with your finger. To write notes using your finger or a stylus, tap the Draw tab on the OneNote ribbon and select a pen, marker, or highlighter, as well as ink color and thickness.
